I finished just in time too. I went to see the Spiderwick movie. It was okay. They strayed a little too far from the book in places, and I was so disappointed that I didn't get to see any elves! The dog is just a hard working dedicated beast who seems too super to be real yet is still believable. The setting, in the Canadian Maritime Province of Newfoundland, is extraordinary.
