I finished reading all of the Spiderwick books. I finished just in time too. I went to see the Spiderwick movie. It was okay. They strayed a little too far from the book in places, and I was so disappointed that I didn't get to see any elves!

The fourth and final book in the series is coming out soon, and I still haven't read the second one. I'll have to read that one next.

I love this book. The dog is just a hard working dedicated beast who seems too super to be real yet is still believable. The setting, in the Canadian Maritime Province of Newfoundland, is extraordinary. It is an excellent read.
